This is a 2-3 day course designed to assist you in becoming a leader and team builder by provided tools and “lessons learned” to help you along. The course covers safety, starting your new position, pre-planning a project and site logistics, developing a relationship with your supervisor. Teaching, mentoring others and becoming a team player, thinking critically to solve problems, resolving conflict, criticism: giving and receiving, workplace diversity, communication skills, stress management, sexual harassment: dealing and understanding, drug and alcohol abuse on the job and scheduling.
