Load Switch Installation: HB NEXT installs a switch to transfer power during a power outage.

Load Switch Maintenance: HB NEXT performs annual inspections on each switch and installs new switches if they are not working.  HB NEXT field experts use SEQUENCE XT to disseminate data to management and reduce reconciliation time so clients can move on to other projects.

HB NEXT has over 200 years of utility work experience.  Our field experts inspect power utility substations.  When the engineers update the drawings, we return them to the substations.

Lighting Services:

HB NEXT manages lighting projects of all sizes.  Our lighting services include GIS mapping, Audits, Logistics Support, and Pole painting and repair.

HB NEXT field experts use GIS map software and GPS devices to conduct a “live” audit in the field to update clients’ existing inventory data.

Joint Use Inventory:

HB NEXT helps utility companies verify and document what is attached to poles by conducting field audits and collecting digital images and videos. This service captures lost revenue for pole owners and identifies safety risks and code violations.

Service Location Audits:

HB NEXT field experts visually inspect meters, yard lights, and other assets for hazards or tampering. Field experts use SEQUENCE XT to document deficiencies and route open items to utility companies.

HB NEXT specializes in installing Wi-Fi, Integrated DAS Systems, and 5G Small Cell Antennas in large commercial sites.

I started working with HB NEXT in 2014. Our Load Management contractor went out of business late in the season, and we scrambled to figure out what to do. Tony Middlebrooks contacted me and HB NEXT was able to jump in last-minute and handle the Load Management project before peak. They did whatever was necessary to ensure that they met our needs. One of the most noticeable differences I see with HB NEXT versus other companies is how they treat our customers like their own. We have very few problems, but when problems arise HB NEXT addresses them promptly. Now they are performing Meter Testing services for us and are doing a great job in that area as well.
